Hello folks, a quick update from us on how our package journey is going, plus other things we've been working on!

Packages​

@krakentech/blueprint-utils​

  • 📊 Two early adopters have integrated the consumption charts from our @krakentech/blueprint-utils package! These projects run this feature live in their consumer sites to show customers their consumption data.
  • 🏃‍ We've been working with these projects to make some quick improvements based on their feedback. We've already released a new major version which split up the feature into data-fetching hooks and separate presentation components for extra flexibility.

@krakentech/blueprint-auth​

We've finally released a v1 (and v2, v3 and v4!) of our @krakentech/blueprint-auth package! We've been working towards this for a long time. Authentication obviously underpins 90% of the features we develop, and having a flexible, exportable and documented framework will open a lot of doors. We're now working with our first pilot project to upgrade their authentication solution and gather early feedback on our offering. We've been making rapid improvements as we do this to make this as easy as possible to plug and play with any NextJS project.

SmartFlex​

We've been building an early example of how to register devices with the SmartFlex product! You can see where we've got to with that in our docs.

A brand new version of this process is currently being created by KrakenFlex. We'll be working with them to prototype a new demo of the next generation of APIs in the coming months.
